2. WASTE COLLECTION POINT
2.1. The Waste Collection Point is located at 17 Wilków Morskich Street in Darłowo, within the area of the Darłowo Sea Port. The collection of ship-generated waste listed in Annex V of MARPOL Convention, including cargo-associated waste other than cargo residues, in accordance with the Guidelines for the Implementation of Annex V (segregated municipal waste), is possible Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 14:00, excluding public holidays. Waste is collected from vessels moored at port infrastructure administered by ZPMD within the administrative boundaries of the Darłowo Sea Port.
2.2. A port infrastructure user wishing to deliver ship-generated waste listed in Annex V of MARPOL Convention, including cargo-associated waste other than cargo residues, in accordance with the Guidelines for the Implementation of Annex V (segregated municipal waste), must contact an employee of Zarząd Portu Morskiego Darłowo Sp. z o.o. at +48 509 092 741 at least one hour before delivering the waste. The ZPMD employee will then collect the waste from the ship, which must be properly segregated and placed in tightly closed, leak-proof bags for mixed waste, metals and plastics, paper, and glass. If the waste is not properly segregated or the bags are damaged/leaking, the ZPMD employee has the right to refuse collection until the waste is properly segregated and placed in undamaged bags.
2.3. The port infrastructure user must have a waste delivery logbook on board the vessel. An employee of ZPMD will record in the logbook the quantity of waste declared by the user and issue a waste receipt, which will include the name of the port, the name of the vessel, and the type and quantity of waste delivered.

The port fee for such waste will be calculated individually after obtaining a cost estimate from the final waste recipient.
The fee for the collection of cargo residues from the vessel is determined individually after receiving information from the shipowner about the generation of such waste. The fee is based on the type of residue, quantity, and the cost of transport, processing, and disposal. The shipowner pays this fee only if the cargo receiver does not provide for the removal of cargo residues from the vessel on their own.
